17 Oct Centenary: Association of Energy Sector Specialists of Serbia
Association of Energy Sector Specialists of Serbia, one of the oldest professional organisations in the country, has marked its first Centenary at the Belgrade city hall. The event was attended by Mr. Aleksandar Antić, Minister of Mining and Energy, officials, as well as professionals from the energy sector.
Professor Nikola Rajaković, Predsident of the Association, expressed his gratitude to institutions and sponsors which helped the organsation of the event, and underscored the support from Electricity Distribution Utility and Meter&Control. On the occasion, Igor Vujicic, CEO at Meter&Control, said: “It is an exceptional honour to be a part of the Association of Energy Sector Specialists, and of this important anniversary, which we are celebrating today. At the start of the Association’s second century, Meter&Control will pursue its collaboration with institutions, companies and professionals who are with us today and contribute, within our domain and by applying the latest technologies and domestic expertise, to the development of energy sector and the transformation of energy market in Serbia”.
Mission of the Association is to create optimal conditions for the development of energy sector through objectivisation of contending interests in the sector and to positively influence their multiprospective consideration. The Association formulates and realizes common interests of all members with the aim to create productive atmosphere in the energy sector which will ultimately lead, through respect of positive professional principles, to a sustainable development of energy sector as well as to the prosperity of the society.
