24 Jun Energetika 2020 International Congress
The 35th International Congress ENERGETIKA 2020, organized by the Serbian Association of Energy Specialists, was held at Mt. Zlatibor on June 21-24th.
Central topics of this year’s Congress focused on renewable sources balanced by non-renewables as current stronghold of the energy system, energy networks and energy markets, energy efficiency, new technologies in energy, cross-sector tasks in environment protection, as well as economic, regulatory and development challenges of energy sector.
Panel discussion “Challenges of the Energy Transition in The Republic of Serbia”, with participation of Vladan Lapčević, Meter&Control CEO, focused on these topics:
– accomplishment of 20:20:20 goals
– Challenges of the European Green Deal for transmission and distirbution systems up to 2050
– Role of smart technologies and related expectations
– Regulatory framework as a catalyst and support to implementing smart technologies.
