30 Jan MID-D Certificate at Full Manufacturing Capacity
Since 2016, Meter&Control has the European regulation MID (Measurement Instruments Directive) Module D certificate for active energy meters, issued by the Metrology Institute of The Republic of Slovenia. The aim of the parent Directive is to improve the protection of consumers and to safeguard their interests in general terms. After Module B, the EC-type examination certificate obtained from NMI Certin, The Netherlands, Module D certifies and governs the production process. In practice, this means that Meter&Control conducts all the compliance requirements and tests during the in-house manufacturing process, thus assuring that every meter leaving the production facility conforms with the EU regulations; equipment produced under this certification bears the appropriate CE marking. This has clear advantages and benefits for our customers, particularly in the EU, such as SSE in Slovakia: meters are delivered installation-ready, thus not requiring additional time or funds for approval, while offering additional guarantee of quality and reliability to the customer.
