Smart meter rollout in Switzerland is in full swing. Supporting this rollout, the Swiss state TV, SRF, has broadcast a use case by EKZ – Elektrizitätswerke des Kantons Zürich – replacing the old meters with smart ones and goes on to explain the obvious advantages of advanced metering infrastructure for all players in the energy chain.
